Under the direction of the NRPA (National Recreation and Park Association), the CPSI (Certified Playground Safety Inspector) certification program offers individuals the chance to receive extensive training on up-to-date playground safety standards. The goal of the program is to train and certify people in communities across the United States of America, all the while promoting playground safety issues including determination of hazards, surfacing prerequisites, and preventative maintenance based on managing risk.
